 The YCB and WCC partnership to create the "Washtenaw Community Concert Band" is being implemented rapidly. Recent performances have been under the WCCB name. Persons may register for WCC's MUS 112 (Concert Band) for the Fall semester.

 The Band's "Town Band" ensemble, a 20-piece group that plays only music of the 1880-1920 period, in period costumes, and with period-appropriate instruments, has been invited to perform at the national convention of the Association of Concert Bands next May. The invitation has been accepted.
