The Ypsilanti Community Band is not financially affiliated with any other organization or agency and, as a result, receives no income from tax dollars or any source other than what we can raise with help from our friends. As a matter of principle, there is never a charge for attending any performance by the Band. All persons affiliated with the Band donate their time, not only as musicians but to support all the "logistics" of the Band.
Nevertheless, any organization of this sort has expenses for music and for equipment. You are cordially invited and encouraged to support the Band through your donations. Cash gifts may be made by sending a check to our Treasurer:

The Ypsilanti Community Band is putting together its 2010-2011 program program and is asking for your support. Band members are selling ads to run in our program over the course of our Fall/Winter season. Your ad will be seen by hundreds of local community members at six great community based concerts. By purchasing a program ad, you help assure the future good health of an important Ypsilanti institution. Please support the musical tradition of excellence which is the Ypsilanti Community Band.
Ads are economically priced at:
$50 for a business card size
$100 for a quarter page
$200 for a half page
$400 per page for interior pages
$600 for the back cover
$1,000 for Season sponsorship (listed as such on the cover and including a half page ad on an interior page).
